Founded in 1870, the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery is one of the oldest otorhinolaryngology programs in the nation. We have a long and distinguished history of providing outstanding patient care that has been cultivated through years of experience in treating the diseases of the ear, nose and throat. Our mission to advance the field of otorhinolaryngology is founded on our extensive research and teaching divisions where we develop novel treatment techniques and train the future leaders of our specialty. We are committed to this tradition by fostering an environment where our faculty not only provide outstanding patient care, but engage in bench to bedside research that provides real therapeutic benefits to our patients. We also strive to provide our residents and fellows with an exceptional training experience that prepares them to be successful members and leaders in our specialty.
