This course is coordinated by the Division of Sleep Medicine and the Department of Otorhinolaryngology– Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive review and update on recent advances in the diagnosis and management of sleep apnea and snoring. New approaches and controversies in the management of patients with sleep disordered breathing will be highlighted. Cutting edge topics from key areas of sleep science involving Otolaryngology, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Geriatrics, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Dental Medicine, Nutrition and Bariatric Surgery will be shared through didactic lectures, panel discussions and optional break-out sessions. There will be ample opportunity for interaction with participating faculty.
